Editorial photography in Quebec City

An editorial portrait is meant to support a story, for example an article in a newspaper or a reportage in a magazine. The editorial photographer needs to make people want to know the story.

Backed up by several publications (e.g. : ELLE, Châtelaine, Reader’s Digest), Patrick loves to make “character portraits” to illustrate articles. Never giving up on authenticity, the portrait must reveal something while fading into a context and leaving mysterious bits. The portrait would be called environmental when it shows the subject in his or her “world”.

Examples of editorial portraits can be seen in the portrait portfolio.
